Start with empty frying pan, diced onions and minced garlic.
I prefer about 1/4 cup diced onions and two cloves of garlic minced.
In one pan, saute diced onions & minced garlic. When it begins to stick to the pan add about 1/3 cup of water and bring to a simmer.
In a separate pan:
Brown lean ground beef or veal - It is recommended 96/4 our more lean.
Drain fat, add to pan containing onions and garlic.
Add to pan:
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp.garlic powder
1/2 tsp.paprika
1/4-1/2 tsp. black pepper -to taste
1-2 tsp of chili powder
1/4 tsp Onion Salt
2 diced roma tomatoes or one vine ripe tomato
Sprinkle of red pepper flakes
Add 1/2 cup of water, cover and let simmer.
Contain you to check, stir and water by 1/4 cup until tomatoes are cooked down.
Once tomatoes are ready, uncover and simmer until the desired texture is reached.
