Wheat

Over the past few weeks I have been eating gluten free, lots of veg and lower cal and I noticed a huge change in cravings/hunger. Then I let myself eat pizza on Friday and BOOM; downward spiral. I really believe that my body does not handle wheat well. As if there is an unusual amount of yeast in my body which feeds off of the sugars. I am going to attempt smaller portions of wheat, not eliminating entirely but greatly decreasing. I was less hungry, having more energy and feeling better overall before, lets make it happen again!

Viscous Cycle

and we are back in this viscous cycle, again. I don't know how I am going to get off of this train... eating disorder, no eating disorder...round and round we go. Am I the only one who experiences this??

P3.

Well as noticed, I went TOTALLY a-wall and right back into throwing up my food unfortunately. I did not lose any more wait and am on P3 now. I am running now, signed up for a 10 mile race to help keep me going. Until next time...

A-Wall

Well people; I totally went A-wall. I decided just to let myself go on Sunday and Monday. I was really over thinking everything with diet and felt so limited. I started to feel as with the eating disorders and so I let myself have the two days. One day w/o drops and one day with. I gained 2.6 lbs. Yesterday on VLCD16 I only ate my protein and an apple and drank about a gallon of water. I am down .8 today. I will add two days to my vlcd's if needed based on the loss from the rest of the week.

Sorry for the missing posts! I have had a very busy weekend! Friday VLCD12 showed up 3 pounds but I was on a different scale. Fri night I ate out at tgi fridays and had a 8oz sirloin with no butter on it and some lettuce. Saturday I did not weigh in because I was too busy. Sat lunch time I ate a mcdonalds grilled chicken breast and some lettuce, and I had extra protein at night because I was having a break down trying not to cheat.. This morning I weighed in -1 lb from vlcd11. Not bad considering!

-1.6 lbs this morning! I have dropped the cheat day weight in 2 days and then a little extra! Very happy about this! Feeling good not too hungry and looking forward to wearing a bikini!

Vlcd8

Well so sorry I have been MIA for two days or more! Saturday, my would have been vlcd6 I believe I was very sick so I did not take any drops and ate regular food. I gained 2.2lbs for my weigh in yesterday. Today is my vlcd8 and I am -1lb today, so one whole pound more to make up for the cheat.

-2.6lbs! I am so excited! I ate at Panera yesterday, a sald with chicken and no dressing. I was on the road and was pretty worried! I am so happy! -7lbs so far!

Spicy Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Preparation: Cube 100g of Lean chicken breast, set aside. Dice 1/3 cup of onions Mince 2 cloves garlic 1/4 cup water 1-2 tbs Braggs Liquid Aminos Chop a head of romaine into taco size pieces, rinse and dry, set aside Spices: 1/4 tsp.onion powder 1/4 tsp chili powder 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (or to taste) 2 dashes of paprika a dash of Chinese 5 spice, black pepper and red pepper flakes Saute in small frying pan garlic and onions. On HCG there is no fat or oils so simply had water to the pain splash by splash to keep bottom moist enough to prevent burning. Add rest of water after onions and garlic have cooked for a few minutes. Toss in spices, chicken & brags and allow to simmer for a few minutes, turning chicken. Once most of water is evaporated the chicken should be done. (check to be sure) Place contents of pan in a bowl, serve with lettuce pieces and enjoy!!

-.8 pounds today -3lbs total including load Not as big of a loss as I would have liked but I am still happy! I am not sure if the face wash I used yesterday, the balsamic vinegar I used (there is 3g of sugar alcohol in it) or the fact that I am PMS. We shall see!

New & Improved HCG Chili

Start with empty frying pan, diced onions and minced garlic. I prefer about 1/4 cup diced onions and two cloves of garlic minced. In one pan, saute diced onions & minced garlic. When it begins to stick to the pan add about 1/3 cup of water and bring to a simmer. In a separate pan: Brown lean ground beef or veal - It is recommended 96/4 our more lean. Drain fat, add to pan containing onions and garlic. Add to pan: 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. thyme 1/2 tsp.garlic powder 1/2 tsp.paprika 1/4-1/2 tsp. black pepper -to taste 1-2 tsp of chili powder 1/4 tsp Onion Salt 2 diced roma tomatoes or one vine ripe tomato Sprinkle of red pepper flakes Add 1/2 cup of water, cover and let simmer. Contain you to check, stir and water by 1/4 cup until tomatoes are cooked down. Once tomatoes are ready, uncover and simmer until the desired texture is reached.

It was a good day! Didn't even eat my first meal until nearly 5. Drank a total of 96oz of water(not kidding), 30oz of coffee and about 16oz of herbal tea. I made the HCG chili today nom nom nom!!!! Hoping for a big loss tomorrow!!

This Diets Saving Grace

-2.2 lbs for day 1!!! I don't think I drank enough water yesterday & I just realized my face wash has sesame seed oil in it and I used it yesterday & today already. I will avoid using it tomorrow and compare results.

VLCD1

I have had  fairly easy day today for a first day! Only hungry around breakfast time! I had some coffee w/ stevia around noon or 1, chicken strips with franks red ht sauce and a salad with balsamic vinegar around 4, a melba for snack and steamed shrimp with spicy mustard and cucumbers for dinner. I am saving my apple for later, only doing one fruit today.

End of Loadng Day 2

Unfortunately yesterday did not go as well as planned. I don't think I was able to eat as much fat as I would have liked....so we will see how this round goes! +.6lbs today for a total of +1.4 for loading, Not bad compared!

End of Loading D1

Heeding advice from a fellow HCGer, I have indeed gone P3 for loading and have consumed only fats and protein for today (minus plantain chips which are still p3 relevant). Breakfast: Cheese & A pork chop Snack: Meat from a McDonalds snack wrap Lunch: Plantain Chips Dinner: About 5-6 Sausage Patties with sugar free syrup & tuna fish I have drank about 30oz of water, about 24+oz of iced tea and had a cup of coffee. Thinking about some homemade guacamole and carrots for a snack. We will see!

Different drops

I will be using "Homeopathic", pharmaceutically made drops from DIY HCG this round. My previous 3 rounds I used the same type of HCG but through hcgdiet.com Saving grace is that both of my parents have used this product for 4 rounds.

LOADING DAY 1 dummm dum dum dummm

I woke if this morning with a 100F fever....have been sick for several weeks, so I am not sure how accurate my weight is but nevertheless, the initial weigh in put me up 15lbs since this time last year (I had just finished my 3rd round). My goal this round is to lose 17-20lbs. An 18 pound loss would put be at an identical weight to the lowest I have been fro my second round of HCG and 20 pounds loss would put me at my lowest weight yet. I am looking forward to this round especially to break old habits and boost my self esteem. I am looking for you support to feel free to chime in! Here goes nothing!

Pre-Load Jitters

It's the day prior to loading and at this point I have felt every different emotion about this round. I have been Criticized, questioned and encouraged. I am feeling very bloated and sick and am terrified to get on the scale. I know that I have gained almost all of my initial weight loss back and that makes me sad. My body is carrying the weight much better and I do think it is safe to believe a good portion of it is water...nevertheless, frightened. I took the time to pre portion 100g packets of chicken breast and have started to sort through my old meal habits. After seeking some council I have decided to head the advice and try to stay away from starch and sugars for loading and go straight for the fats. Therefore I will eat a commemorative pizza tonight. Let the games begin!

It's that time again!

Well everyone, it IS INDEED that time again!  I will be starting my 4th round this weekend. It has been EXACTLY a year since my last round.  I have managed to maintain my size through out most of the year but will admit that weighing myself is something I refused to do. Around 4-6 months ago I started taking an oral contraceptive again and noticed an immediate wight flux. If any of you remember, this was my reasoning for doing my last round. I have struggled intensely over the past year with my self image and unfortunately developed an eating disorder that took over a year to kick in the butt. For those of you who know me and didn't know this, SURPRISE. I plan on using my blog this round to really be honest with myself and my readers where I am at. I want to be relate-able and transparent as we walk through this round together. I have been working hard to be healthy and am now in a place where I am just that. The only problem is that I gained some weight back in the process...
