oops

Ok I was actually up like +9 in two days! I am now only up +4 after doing two protein days in a row, im hoping to be back down by the weekend...I am not stressing about it though, i feel like stress is what causes the unbalance in the ability to carry through a lifestyle change :)

Long time

Sorry it has been so long since i posted! I managed to keep my weight without a steak day until this weekend when i went nuts for halloween, +4lbs :( so today and yesterday i did protein days...and i am going to keep them coming....

Hi all! Sorry for the delay, I have been super busy the passed four days. I cheated on my last low calorie day and ate marzipan AGAIN....but have been stable ever since in spite of everything. I only lost the 15lbs from the round and no more but I am happy with it. Rob says i look really good, and I feel good. Today is the first day that I am up since p3 started and it is thanks to TOM, which started last night. All in all I am proud of myself for losing 26 pounds over all this summer and plan to keep it off :)

Well not only did i not lose any weight but i managed to gain 1.8lbs. I know that its all water bc I am bloated in my lower belly. The culprit: Marzipan. We brought in these special chocolates filled with marzipan to my work and I could not resist, they are one of my favorite things about living in europe. Needless to say I have a "sleepover hangover" as I call it (when you eat too much sugar and don't get very much sleep), am up 1.8 and am bloated to boot. Luckily for me I am so bloated that I have no interest in food whatsoever so todays vlcd should go over just fine :) What is it with me and this round... I am seriously developing some kind of food complex that I did not have before....

I am r2vlcd21 -.4lbs which puts me at a new low! still 7lbs north of my goal....if I could manage to lose 2 more pounds some how this week I would be so  happy....but i cannot imagine doing any more p2....today is my last day of drops.

I have not weighed myself yet but i can tell i have gained at least from water bc I am swollen in my hands and my lower belly and i feel so hot and sticky from my fever     I have to go to this special place to watch an hour long video for my health card for work before work tonight (I have to get there around 230 and then stay until 430) and then I work from 530-11     Long day for being sick... I will weigh soon

Fever + PMS = AWOL

So I have a fever today and have decided to snack on some things here and there that are VERY off protocol. I needed comfort and seemed more unsustained than normal. Tomorrow is my vlcd20 so i am sure I will be up a few pounds. I don't mind as long as I can come back down to what I was this morning before p3. I am so done with hcg for now.

-.8lbs! yay! I cannot believe I lost almost a whole pound today after losing so much yesterday! AND i ate a little bit extra of the grissini! I am hoping to lose at least 3.2lbs more before this is over but would LOVE it if it went 5-8 more. I don't even know if that is possible.....

 +.6lbs....of course....i had an extra apple. i was s hungry. I feel better today, like I can really focus on the last 7 days of this and make it happen! no more partial archies! :) I am not going to have grissini anymore this round. I feel like all it does it make me hungry and make me want to cheat. I have cheated the past two days in a row and am lucky to have only gained a pound total from it. If i think that I need the bread I will buy some melbas but for now, cold turkey again. only 6 days left for drops, 8 total. My goal is to lose 5-6lbs so I better get my head screwed on straight! :)

well the results are in from my 3 grissini binge last night: +.6lbs from yesterday. Oh well I can handle it. I am vlcd14 today, 6 more days of drops, hoping to lose 6lbs....don't know if it is going to happen with the stalls i had this week and the gain today but we will see! I am thinking TOM is due in a week which means pms is right around the corner :( this could be an interesting last 6 days!

The binge

I pulled a partial archie last night and ate 3 grissini in a row....I got home from work and was hungry and I had no protein ready to eat so I just went for the grissini bread sticks....no remorse. I drank a big glass of Apple Cider Vinegar after but still....

I woke up this morning terrified to weigh in and THANK GO, -.8lbs! Finally!! I was getting extremely light headed and felt so icky yesterday, this round has gone harder than the last...I finally decided to buy the grissini breadsticks bc Rob made a good point, they put them in the protocol for a reason, maybe I my body really needs them.

-1.2 lbs, so back down to where I was 3 days ago AND I ate two egg whites last night on top of my daily food. I ate 4 shrimp tonight extra, testing out something I read about people who ate an extra 50-60gm of protein lost more weight.... I am craving lots of food and am seriously surprised that I have not gone A wall and eaten a bag of halloween candy. 13 more days...

Stall. No gain no loss. I am ok with though considering I have lost 10 already! Hopefully we will be back to losses tomorrow! I took a melatonin last night to sleep and when I woke up I could feel the water retention. It isn't supposed to make you retain water but sometimes your sleep patterns do. I have to say I am relieved and surprised to not have a gain with how I feel today. My body is very achey and I am very tired. I start culinary school in a month and a half and  won't be able to do the HCG protocol again for 2 years after! My goal with this round is to be <135 and to maintain it over the course of the next two years with diligent protein and steak days. I am a little nervous at the effectiveness after my 3 week road trip helped me put on 4lbs!

-1LB, 7.8 total, 3.8 net! WOOT! I am so shocked at how fast this is coming off this time! I am assuming that the first couple of pounds were just water weight but STILL. I was so worried that I would not lose what I wanted to this round and I think that I may be able to hit higher than I was expecting! I did eat two fruits yesterday, I was famished. But still no bread!

-1.4lbs,  6.8 total, 2.8 net!!! I had the WORST round of leg cramping last night, much worse than last round. I hardly slept :( BUT the weight is coming off so well! I am so thankfully surprised!

CRABBY

I noticed a HUGE difference in my mood and overall attitude since I started taking HCG this round. I am so cranky, easily annoyed, no patience, and more depressed. Granted a.) I can't take 5-htp on this round bc the tablets have rice flour in them and b) I am aware of the hormones so I am trying to make it as normal as possible...but still. I feel like a pregnancy woman, personality wise. bah!

End of my first day...whew

I have managed to make it through my first vlcd for this round and only ate one meal, no bread and one fruit and not be hungry. I drank one glass of coffee with no milk in it and lots of water today and am already feeling a lot better than I was earlier today, can't wait to see what the scale says tomorrow!!

R2 Load day ONE!

So today is my first loading day of R2!!! I weighed in for the first time in 3 weeks today....NOT GOOD :( I am +4lbs from my last weigh in and +8 since my LDW.....I just finished TOM and have been eating totally crappy for 3 weeks straight. I have done 3 steak days but it is still not surprising to me. I am hoping to lose 20 pounds this round which will put me down where I will stay comfortably and not need to lose any more weight!!! Let the weight loss begin!!

a long time!

Hi everyone! sorry it has been so long since I last connected with you! We just moved all of our stuff back to Vegas the past two weeks and finally have internet in our new house! woo hoo! I have eaten pretty much whatever I wanted the past 3 weeks, i have done 2 steak days and two protein days but have not weighed in at all bc i have not had a scale. I was PMS all last week and now TOM is here this week. I am not looking forward to weigh in :( I would not be surprised if I gained 5 lbs since my last weigh in. I start loading this weekend so we will see how this round goes!

Over Oats

Today I was still up under a pound but I also ate late last night and had a hard time sleeping. I had oats again for breakfast which makes for 3 days in a row of oats! Sheesh! Tomorrow I will add bread made from sprouted grains...I am not expecting that to go well so I am planning for a steak day monday before I eat my first pizza in 70 days!

Oat-No!

I gained almost a pound from the oats :( The forums say this is normal and to eat the oats three days in a row and the water weight will go away on its own so heres to Oats....meh

Sushi Results

Ok well the results of the Sushi are +1.8lbs so that puts me 3.4 over LDW so I am doing a steak day. I am very hungry though today which is a bummer and my body is EXTREMELY achey. If all goes well with the scale tomorrow I will have a potato :)

SUSHI

Today I went out for sushi with my friend and had 3 different kinds, some fried, all with sauces and wasabi. I picked 90% of the rice off of each roll but STILL this is a HUGE HUGE add for p4 considering I have not actually started to add anything for P4 yet even though I am on P4 now. I have drank lots of water and taken a few enzymes but I went ahead and bought a steak for tomorrow planning to do a steak day..... LOL

R1P4D1 !!!!

I finally lost all of the PMS/TOM water weight yayy! So today is my first day of P4 and I sprung for a mocha light frappacino from starbucks...I know I know so silly but even though there is Stevia in it, there is also maple syrup so I wasn't sure. I did eat cantaloupe two days ago with no problem either. I ordered french fries at lunch and ended up just sitting there staring at them. I couldn't eat them!? It is so crazy how things have changed.

-2.4 lbs today! only 3.6 to go to be back at LDW. Tom is still here but ALMOST gone so I am hoping to see a drop tomorrow....it's hard to say though bc I don't think I drank enough fluids today, was out in the sun, worked  tonight, ate late dinner AND started lifting weights for the the first time in YEARS today....sooooooo I am drinking ACV right now and hoping to God that the scale is kind to me...I really don't mins staying where I am I just don't want to be up again :(

Well the results from the frozen yogurt are in! I am actually down a pound! LOL I think the fact that it was "sugar free" helped a lot! wink wink I did a protein day today after calculating that TOM was nearly finished. I am anxious to see the water move along but too annoyed to a steak day until I KNOW TOM IS GONE lol....what can I say, do you blame me!? ;) I had iced tea with vit. c, multi vit and 5htp with some sharp cheddar cheese in the AM and then I had about a half of grilled chicken for lunch, more cheese for snack....A 1/4lb size beef patty (90/10) grilled at home of course, with a bit of cheese on top for dinner....and then I had a bit of cheese for a snack in the evening. I drank TONS of water, flavored and regular and also had a venti iced coffee with a dash of cream in it. I DID have a glass of chardonnay this evening which I hope will not negate my efforts on my protein day....I had 3 glasses of water with ACV immediately following to help X out the glyc...

FROZEN YOGURT

Ok so I am not technically supposed to start P4 until tomorrow BUT my boyfriend and I had date night tonight and we went to a frozen yogurt place after dinner. I had a regular sized, no sugar added, non-fat, chocolate yogurt SO welcome to P4! I was not planning on having anything like frozen yogurt on my first day but I decided to go for it since I have been so excellent on P3 and there was no sugar added. I heavily anticipate having to do a steak day tomorrow but it was worth it! :)

R1P3D14...STEAK DAY

I am PMS and up 6lbs over LDW!!! I weighed in on tuesday at 1.8lbs over, almost steak day but not quite. I chose not to weigh yesterday bc I felt so icky. I have not deviated from P3 protocol  in anyway other than eating late once and awhile :( I talked to Grammy from the forums and she told me that even though it is likely ally water weight from TOM that I NEED to do a steak day. If it is water weight I should lose all to most of it overnight..... So steak day it is!!

Well I weighed in at -.6 today but not a big enough drop. I am def PMS considering last month I started TOM on the 13th....so we will see! I feel bloated today and craving things but feeling full at the same time which would be the presence of hcg in my system thanks to TOM. I hate being a woman sometimes!! :)

Saline Enema

OK... You HAVE to do one of these Enemas....they are in the same isle as stool softener, tums and laxatives. They only cost $2.00 for a 2 pck and they are NOT as horrible as they sound. Not only did I only have to wait like 30 seconds to have a BM, it was not messy at all and I feel 200% better! i feel empty and free! Highly highly recommend!!!

Well yesterday I weighed myself and I was up 2 pounds. I wasn't sure if it was the cashews, eating late, or the fact that i am due for TOM....I didn't do a steak day because I had been under LDW. Today is a different story, I didn't even want to bother weighing myself. I look and feel bloated, I ate late yesterday AND I tried sauvignon blanc yesterday...2 glasses worth...But I did. I am up .5lbs from yesterday which pushes me over 2lbs over LDW Protein day it is! I also did a saline enema this morning just to give my digestive track a fresh start for the day. We will see!

Oh No!!

So I am sad to announce that I just read on my forum that cashews are about 13.2% starch! AND they say almost everyone has a gain from eating them and I ate about 3/4 cup :( So I have a feeling that I will end up having to do a steak day or protein day tomorrow :( .... sad news

Ok so instead of a steak day I am going to try a protein day. Basically you don't eat any fruits or veggies all day. some people eat fats some people don't, both seem to have losses...so we will see how it goes!

well I weighed in this am at +3lbs!!! what the?! I did eat quite a lot more yesterday than I intended, and I tried a new kind of cheese AND I ate right before I went to bed....so I am sure all of those things don't help. Let the steak day begin!!!

Ok I monitored what I ate a little more carefully today...hopefully it will be kind to me :) I ate about 1670 cal all day: 10:30am woke up, thyroid meds 11:00am BM** 11:30 Toilet & weigh -1.8lbs! 11:50 Iced Tea with absorbic acid, digestive enzyme, multi vitamin and 5-HTP 2 eggs scrambled with 1/2 tbsp butter, 1/3 cup blackberries, 7 celery sticks with 1.5 tbsp guacamole 1:30pm Chardonnay Spritzer 2:30pm 1 whole carrot 3:15 Iced tea with absorbic acid small slice of sharp cheddar, 1/3 cup blackberries, 7 sticks celery with 1.5 tbsp guacamole 4:15 small slice of sharp cheddar on jazz apple, digestive enzyme, coffee with 1/2 tbsp cream 7:15 Serving of green beans with a little butter, large salmon fillet with braggs and butter, dried pears * (no sugar added just baked) and plantain chips

Morning after steak day: -1.8lbs! Yay! it worked! So I am seeming to stabilize about .6lbs over LIW, which is 1.6lbs over the lowest I had weighed on HCG VLCD....I gained a pound the last 2 days of vlcd... So my approach today is minimal cheese and NO lattes....I am going to eat more veggies than fruits today also and see where that leaves me...and we can't forget the ACV :)

Cooking

I literally just spent the past 2 hours cutting carrots and celery, bagging them, cooking a big pot of green beans and making a huge bowl of homemade guacamole for tomorrow. I am trying to eat more veggies than fruit tomorrow and also more protein and less cheese and see how things go. Avocado is new for me on p3 so hopefully my body is ok with it!

R1P2D2   Feeling a lot better today, it was the initial ingestion of new food that bothered me I think. Got to love digestive enzymes! I am up 1.2 from LIW but I am ok with that. I worked late last night and had some fruit and cheese before I went to bed, I am sure that didn't help.   I did well on my first day they only sensitive food i added was sharp cheddar cheese. Today I added monetary jack cheese and I had a latte with whole milk. Not nearly as bloated today. I had a chipotle salad with chicken, salsa, green peppers and cheese and it tasted like a burrito lol MAN how our tastes change :) if all goes well when I weigh in tomorrow I will add swiss cheese tomorrow, we will see! :)

feeling awful

I would just like to say that I feel absolutely disgusting. I feel like I am going to throw up, am bloated, full of gas, constipated and I have heart burn. So far this is what I ate today: 200am 6 carrot stix             6 strawberries (small-med) 230am about 2.5 oz sharp cheddar cheese, with digestive enzyme             coffee, no milk 430am 3 eggs scrambled with butter (regular sweet cream land-o-lakes) 5:15am 3/4 univera plant drink (equal to eating one half small apple, its a supplement) 6:00am 1 apple 815am- 10am snacked on plantain chips, they are only plantains with palm olein and sea salt, it says on the trigger list we can have plantain chips but no bananas) I was a little bloated after eating the cheese and eggs but felt totally fine by 9am. I was legitimately hungry when I was eating the plaintain chips.....I came home from the DMV at 10:30 and went right to bed for 2 hours, then when I woke up ...

Breakfast Ok so it is 430am and I already have had: 6 carrot sticks 6 small-med strawberries 2 1/2 oz sharp cheddar cheese 3 eggs fried in butter WOAH lol. I have to leave the house in 30 min which is why I have already eaten breakfast but I will say that I already feel bloated even though I took TWO enzymes....we will see

ok so it is 1:45 am my time and i can't sleep...my first P3 food is carrots! LOL...I had to wake up by 4:30 am today anyhow to go to the DMV so this isnt so bad...my stomach has been growling for the first time in 40 days! it is so weird!

Prep

Ok so I went to the store today and bought BIG steaks, cheeses, avocado, carrots, plantain chips, apples, strawberries, raspberries, green beans, tomatoes, cream cheese...... I plan on having fried eggs for breakfast with some slices of cheese on the side & some raspberries..... I think for lunch I will have a nice steak and some green beans.... Dinner will be chicken lettuce wraps.... Snacks will be cheese and veggies and fruits and maybe some shrimp :) Coffee with milk in it tomorrow! yayyyy! I am still nervous about it all! :) It has tech been 48 hours as of now so I am debating having a slice of cheese before bed.....

So last night I discovered that I was out of drops! So today was my first day no drops, only 500 calories today and tomorrow... I gained a pound when I weighed in this morning so we will see what happens tomorrow... I can't wait to EAT on friday! yay!

Today I started making my grocery list for P3! It is interesting to think about eating new foods.... It actually is even more crazy to think how excited I am to eat green beans, salmon and cheese LOL...Oh and red bell peppers! :) Yummy! I cannot decide if I should eat cheese, yogurt or nuts on my first day. From everything I have read, you can eat any amount of meats, veggies, eggs, oils and butters but when it comes to adding the nuts, cheese, milk and yogurt you have to add very slow in order to stay stable. Now as much as I would absolutely love to dive in head first and have everything, stabilizing is much more important to me. I know some people who just started eating all kinds of p3 foods on the first day and not only did they gain weight, they were very bloated and had a very unhappy tummy. That being said...I am weighing out almonds over a cheeseburger minus the bun....hmmmmmm

I have not lost anything the past two days and now finally! -1! -22 net! I only have 6 days left! I hope to make it to -25 for this round by LIW but we will see! It is so crazy how used to this I have gotten! I am excited about P3 though! I have started buying cheese from sam's club and am thinking of other things I get to eat!!!!

very very tired today, almost blacked out 4 times...not cool.... we went to cheesecake factory after sitting in our realtors office for an hour filling out all of the paper work to bid on our new house! I had a 6oz filet cooked bare on the grill, i only ate half of it as 3.5 oz is 100 grams, and then i had some romaine with balsamic vinegar and pepper on it ....it was yummy! have not been sleeping well...i started taking melatonin and it worked the first few days but the last 3 it did not help at all. tonight i didn't even bother after sleeping on the couch last night, i think i fell asleep around 4am...i have to wake up at 5 am today to go get in line at the DMV bc yes it is that crazy, expecting to get no sleep, no weight loss and lots of water retention...urgh...

-3.5 lbs!! so 20.6 net! I am feeling great! :) Tom is gone and I can do this! 10 more days of P2! I am so sad that it is almost over! I am doing an experiment and not eating two fruits, only one a day for the last 10 days to see if it encourages my weight loss....we will see!

It is crazy to think that I only have 14 days left! I am so proud of myself for sticking with this! I am very curious to see what my end weight will be! I am planning on doing the 40 days but technically I am going to finish out my drops so it will likely be just over 40 days.... TOM has not been kind to me today :( I am nervous to weigh in tomorrow knowing that I likely gained water weight...even though I know weight will come off after TOM.....

Really Awesome p4 advice

In Phase 4 you very gradually introduce small amounts of starches and sugars into the diet.   I think that it is important to know a bit about how Carbs work when starting Phase 4: Once the starchy or sugary food is digested and converted to glucose (sugar), the glucose then enters the bloodstream and the level of blood-glucose rises. This induces the pancreas to secrete insulin into the blood which "mops up" the glucose and helps convert it into the storage-type of carbohydrate, called glycogen, which is deposited in the liver and in the muscles. Protein Day

I saw these tips on some other thread and though I will share them with you- Writer is Hashimoto- What works for me may not work for you. take your vitamins and keep your bowels open.. My first round was long ( lost 40pounds in 40 days) second round short (21pounds 21 days) No more long rounds 21days or 30 days only while I am cycling HCGWORKS when you work it!! 1. For protien day I do 400gms of protein for the day into 4 100gm meals for example: 7am : peppered bison steak strips (100gms) 11am; chicken breast (100gms)seasoned to perfection and battered in a little eggwhite keeps it from getting dry ( i know i am allergic to eggs but I cant resist one teaspoon) my daughter loves it that way it frys up good in a no stick pan 3pm: marinated Jumbo shrimp(100gms) i love them spicy quickly on the forman grill. I am half way through my protein day today, For breakfast I had 10oz Coffee with stevia, blended with ice, and 4 egg whites (no salt) for lunch i am having 180grms of chicken with pepper and mustard (no salt) and iced tea with 1 tsp of absorbic acid (powdered vitamin c) I plan on having 120 grams of shrimp with dinner and have taken enzymes at each meal....drinking lots of water.....i will not chug the vinegar sorry LOL

Digestive Enzymes

I have officially gone on Digestive Enzymes! My body seems to be a little annoyed when trying to digest the protein so I went to Whole Foods and bought 365 brand digestive enzymes ($5.99). I did also notice that there are tons of different kinds, many of  which contain oils and aloe gel so be careful!!

+1.8 LBS :0 Last  night I was starving for some reason known as TOM so  made myself 50grams of extra protein (this is very common, you usually would stall over gain)....which ended up turning into 2 extra grissini and one melba toast....urghhhh so I gained....its hard to know if how much of the gain is the food and whats TOM but either way.....I am going to do an apple day today to make up for it so we will see when I check back in tomorrow :(

OMG SOOOO YUMMY (even for non dieters!)

Onion Rings 80g sliced onion rings 1 grissini breadstick 1 T skim milk (as allowed daily) 1/4 t cayenne pepper 1/4 t salt 1/4 t pepper Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. In a bowl combine the milk, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper and mix together. Grind grissini in food processor until it is a powder. (I use my coffee grinder.) Put grissini in a separate small bowl. Place rings in batter bowl and toss to coat fully. (It's best to use your hands here to ensure you coat each ring.) Let sit in batter 2-3 mins then toss again. Dip each ring into the grissini powder by hand. I find it works best to do these one at a time, rolling the ring in the grissini coating instead of tossing or shaking it on. Place on cookie sheet lined with non-stick aluminum foil. Cook 6-7 mins. Then flip, cooking an additional 6-7 mins. Serve immediately.

+1lb :( urghh...TOM is arriving like NOW so I understand the plus one...hopefully I can make it through TOM without being too discouraged! I will say that I went to TAO Beach today and felt pretty good in a swimsuit though! :) I tried eggs for the first time today, we will see!

so I am still awake...not sure why... apparently many people sleep poorly on this diet LOL so I am doing an experiment tomorrow, a fritatta! One whole egg with yoke, and 3 egg whites, one tbsp of milk, salt, pepper, chopped onion and diced tomato, baked in the oven. we will see! I was planning on trying eggs today but it never happened :)

Well I can tell that TOM is arriving within the next day! THANK GOD! I seriously don't know what I would do if I had another day of cravings like I did last night....I seriously almost cheated! Today has been fine, no cravings, not hungry and in fact I only ate one of my breads! I also had my first meal later in the day, whereas I normally cannot wait as long...but it seemed to be good for me!

Dreaming of p3

It is so sad that I have 29 days until P3 and I am already looking at recipes! FYI, P3 is when the VLCD's are over and you eat everything but sugar and starch for 3 weeks before you add sugar back in...lol this even sounds good LOL: SKILLET (PITA) BREAD   Ingredients 1 egg 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/3 cup yogurt 1-1/2 teaspoons oil 1 cup almond flour   Instructions: 1. In a small bowl and with a fork, beat the egg, yogurt and baking soda. Let foam for a minute or two and then beat in the oil . Add the flour last. The batter should be thick.   2. For each pita make a pancake using 2 rounded tablespoons of batter dropped onto a lightly greased skillet. Cook like pancakes over medium heat. When done, move to plate to cool.   3. Split (like a pita) and fill with your favorite sandwich fixings. Wrap extras and store in the fridge. Makes 3 pitas

Here is the kicker, I did not eat anything bad, I ate all the normal things I do: Breakfast: 2 teas with stevia Lunch: Broiled Tilapia with seasoning (no additives) Sautéed Asparagus (braggs, minced garlic, sea salt & pepper) Dinner: Steak Baby Spinach with apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, sea salt, pepper and stevia NOW, heres the fluctuations... I missed my mid-day hcg dose bc i went to work and forgot it so I took two at night, and I ate my dinner at 12am bc i had just got out of work .....ahhhhh I am now being told that I should not eat that late and I should not take two doses at once and that I should lose the 1.4 tomorrow + some...... meh

I am finally not hungry! I was told it would happen on day 5-6, but I also upped my drops to .42 so I am not sure which one I should thank?! But either way it was awesome today! Not only did I not feel hungry, I felt totally satisfied all day!

-2 LBS (8.4 net) Yesterday went much better! I slept like a champ and wasn't as hungry! I am actually really liking the food from my hcg recipe book, its really tasty! I started drinking Chai tea and it's like having a treat :) Its funny how your mind changes!

Well I have no idea why I was so hungry last night! I upped my drops to 4.0 (+.2) so hopefully that helps. You aren't supposed to be hungry like that, which is the whole point of why this diet works...but the people who do the drops and not the injections have to figure out how much they need without going over the top.... All in all it went well and I survived to wake up this morning -1lb again! yayyy! I can do this! :)

somewhere in between day 4 & 5....

It is 2:15 in the am and I am awake because I am STARVING, this is the most hungry that I have been since I started this... I will see how it goes tomorrow and if I need to I will up my drops. No major headaches, only a few aches here and there, lots of leg cramping but not every day. I also broke out with tiny pimples on my face, I am guessing that this is from the hormones or detox shock...... >.<

-1.6 pounds today! So 5.4 net to date (in 3 days), 3.4 pre load! I am very happy that the weight is coming off like this! BUT it is getting hard mentally, I work in a restaurant and every time the Bavarian pretzels went out yesterday going "wwaaaaaaaaa" :) This really is an easy diet as long as you can handle it mentally, the 120oz of water all day keeps me pretty distracted from all of the cravings :)

I went out last night to a club with friends and we had a skybox with bottles of liquor and I drank my fiji water without any problems! The food we are cooking tastes awesome but I am missing little things like bread and soda!

Ok people here is the LINGO, R1= Round one, VLCD=very low calorie day...... Well this morning I weighed in at +2lbs to start my VLCD1, I am guessing that 2 pounds is not really bad for all the crap I made myself eat?! :) I am feeling hungry and I have only been up for a few hours...I understand that it is going to take about 2 days for me to not feel hungry...we will see! :)

Loading Day 2

It is the end of my day two loading and HOLY CRAP....how does anyone eat like this on a regular basis? I have eaten so much more fat than I normally do, I feel as though I could have a heart attack at any moment LOL :)  Tonight we went to watch the Lakers game and I ordered a chocolate cake with ice cream and Rob sat there going "ICING, make sure you get the ICING" ..... I am actually looking forward to eating only 500 calories tomorrow!!!! 

Loading Day 1

     Today is the morning after my first loading day. I am so uncomfortable, I gained a solid pound and am full of gas and water. Rob & I even went for a walk last night hoping to feel better but it hasn't done much good.      Rob has taken it quite seriously to feed me full of fat. I feel like a pregnant middle eastern woman! LOL I will be happy to be done!

HCG-Why me?

For those of you who may not have known I have Hashimotos' which is an autoimmune disorder that effects the thyroid. I have had thyroid problems since I was 18 years old and have always had a very hard time maintaining my weight. While most people could eat what I do on a normal day and actually LOSE weight, I struggle to not GAIN any. Early this year several people I know turned to the HCG diet to help lose unwanted weight. After seeing HUGE success in all of them I am now beginning my journey through the HCG protocol. HCG is rigorous but it is designed to reset your metabolism so that you not only lose the weight, you maintain it while living a normal and happy lifestyle. This blog will follow my day to day journey as I sacrifice all of my normal routine to finally beat my weighty demons.
